Restaurante El Sitio (La Palma)

With incomparable views over the Atlantic Ocean, El Sitio is the haute Canarian cuisine restaurant of Hotel Hacienda de Abajo, in Tazacorte (La Palma).

Signature cuisine that combines traditional local gastronomy with international influences, with a menu that changes every season. Opened in 2012 and led by La Palma-born head chef José Alberto Díaz, it champions local-produce cooking: fresh products from La Palma and the rest of the archipelago. It also stands out for its wide selection of vegetarian haute cuisine dishes. It has held a Repsol Sun continuously since 2019. The wine list features more than 50 labels, with excellent representation of the Canary Islands and the island of La Palma, including wines from a small winery linked to the hotel that are served only in its restaurants, such as the red Clarissimus, made from baboso negro grapes. Open every day for lunch and dinner. The bar-café is open from half past seven in the morning until well into the night, and its viewpoint offers some of the best sunsets.
