The Ordesa Valley, in the central Pyrenees, in the Sobrarbe region (Aragón), is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This valley gave rise to Ordesa National Park, created on 16 August 1918 and extended in 1982 as Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, which includes the Monte Perdido massif, the Añisclo Canyon, the Escuaín Gorges and the head of the Pineta Valley.

It is a U-shaped glacial valley, in a setting where many peaks exceed 3,000 metres: Monte Perdido reaches 3,355 m and the Gabietos 3,034 m. Waterfalls carve slides in the limestone: the Cola de Caballo, in the Soaso Cirque, the Gradas de Soaso, the Estrecho and Cueva waterfalls, and Cotatuero. The Senda de Cazadores climbs up to 600 metres above the valley floor.

You get there from Torla by a forest track, restricted to authorised vehicles. Colossal walls, beech forests and waterfalls in a fairytale valley.
