The Pinares de Rodeno Protected Landscape is shared by Albarracín, Bezas and Gea de Albarracín, in the Sierra de Albarracín (Teruel). It was declared on 2 May 1995 (Decree 91/1995) and extended on 4 September 2007; it covers 6,829 hectares and its altitude runs from 1,095 metres at the Barranco de Tobías to 1,602 at the Cerro de la Cruz de Montoyo.
The soil is red sandstone, the rodeno that gives the place its name, and the dominant vegetation is the maritime pine (pino rodeno). Wild boar, red deer and golden eagle live here.
Several caves preserve Levantine rock art. Reddish rock among pines, next to one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
