The Ebro Delta Natural Park is at the mouth of the river Ebro, in the province of Tarragona, between the comarcas of Baix Ebre and Montsià. It was declared a natural park on 4 August 1983 and extended in 1986. It covers 7,736 hectares across six municipalities and is a Special Protection Area for Birds, Special Area of Conservation, Ramsar wetland and part of the Terres de l'Ebre Biosphere Reserve.

The delta is formed of sediments from the Pyrenees, the Iberian System and the Cantabrian Mountains. There are salt pans, reed beds and cane thickets, and it is a great refuge for birds. The salt pans date back to the 10th century and rice growing to the 19th.

Rice fields, lagoons and flamingos in a very special light.
