The Cañón del Río Lobos Natural Park is a protected natural area in Castilla y León, created by decree 115/1985 of 10 October. Roughly three quarters of its area belongs to Soria and a quarter to Burgos, spread across seven municipalities; it covers 10,202 hectares and the canyon is 25 km long.

It is a cut in Upper Cretaceous limestone, with karst, caves and chasms. There are stands of Spanish juniper, black pine, Portuguese oak and holm oak, and the Egyptian vulture, the griffon vulture, trout and otters live here.

It preserves Bronze Age rock paintings. The hermitage of San Bartolomé is Romanesque, from the first quarter of the 13th century, and receives more than 10,000 visits a year. It can be reached via Hontoria del Pinar, the Puente de los Siete Ojos and La Galiana.
